Subungual glomus tumor

Painful right ring finger.

Patient Data

Age: 45
Gender: Male

There is a 5 mm well-defined nodular bright signal (on T2 and proton density sequences) lesion at the subungual area near to the distal phalanx of the ring finger.

Case Discussion

This patient was referred with the history of ring finger pain in the subungual region for 1 year. Regarding the imaging findings, subungal glomus tumor is suspected.
