Herniation of abdominal fat and ascending colon through a defect in the superior lumbar triangle.

Renal stones are seen on both sides.

A superior lumbar hernia (or Grynfeltt-Lesshaft hernia) is a type of lumbar hernia, with herniation occurring through the superior lumbar triangle (of Grynfeltt-Lesshaft).
