Supratentorial pilocystic astrocytoma

Presentation

Bilateral papilledema and blurring of vision.

Patient Data

Age: 16 yrs
Gender: Female

Large multiloculated cystic lesion within the left temporo parietal region with ill defined heterogeneous enhancing solid components within the lesion at left high parietal region, causing effacement of left lateral and third ventricle with mid line shift towards right side and resultant dilatation of both temporal horns and right lateral ventricle. Mild periventricular CSF ooze seen.
