Presentation

Chronic shoulder pain, restricted mobility. No history of trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Massive osteoarthritis of the shoulder joint with humeral head deformity suggesting prior avascular necrosis (no trauma history). Intra-articular loose bodies as well as ossifications within the fascia of the supraspinatus muscle (osteochondromatosis and myositis ossificans).
