Talocalcaneal tarsal coalition

Mild ankle pain following car accident. Proximal tibia and fibular fracture were present (not shown) and the ankle was imaged to exclude additional fracture.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

Lateral plain film of the ankle shows pes planustalar beak and C-sign suggesting incidental presence of talocalcaneal coalition


Non-osseous coalition is confirmed on CT. No acute injury is seen.
