Large pelvic soft tissue density displaces bowel upwards suggesting the presence of a mass. No calcification is evident.

A few selected images from an MRI demonstrate a very large high T2 signal heterogeneous mass arising from the pelvis. On the T1 image there appears to be some intrinsic high T1 signal although it is difficult to ascertain if this represents fat within the lesion.
Case Discussion
The child went on to have surgery that confirmed the presence of a large pelvic teratoma. No histological information is available to further characterize this lesion.
