Presentation

Kicked in the scrotum during sports game. Right scrotal tenderness on examination.

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Case Discussion

The patient in this case proceeded to surgical exploration, where the diagnosis of right testicular rupture was confirmed. Debridement and repair of the tunica albuginea were performed, and the testis appeared viable. Histopathology of the debrided tissue demonstrated extensive interstitial hemorrhage.
