Testicular torsion

Primary ultrasound:
- left testicle is enlarged with homogeneous texture
- no blood flow seen in the testicle
- swollen scrotal skin with hyperemia
Four days later:
- heterogeneous texture of the left testicle and triangular hypoechoic areas representing necrosis
- no parenchymal vascularity pn color doppler interrogation
Case Discussion
The features represent a neglected case of testicular torsion, confirmed surgically.
