Testicular torsion

Presentation

Sudden onset of scrotal and abdominal pain one and a half hours ago. Nausea.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Testes

ultrasound

Normal Doppler trace on right. No Doppler trace on left.

Left sided reactive hydrocele.

Findings consistent with testicular torsion.

Case Discussion

The patient was taken to theater by the urologists and a left testicular torsion was confirmed.
