Patient Data

Age: 55 years old
Gender: Male
x-ray

There is comminuted tibial shaft fracture with displaced butterfly fragment.

Transverse fracture is present at the proximal fibular diaphysis.

A fracture is also seen at the lateral tibial plateau.

Displaced comminuted fracture is present at the midshaft of the tibia. A displaced butterfly fragment is seen.

There is transverse fracture at the proximal fibular diaphysis with anterior angulation of the distal fracture component. 

Fracture of the lateral tibial plateau with depressed / displaced component is demonstrated (Schatzker II).
