This young child has been receiving bisphosphonates for osteogenesis imperfecta

AP radiograph of lower limbs demonstrates deformed long bones with alternating dense and lucent metaphyseal bands.

Case Discussion

These sclerotic growth recovery lines in the metaphyses are secondary to bisphosphonate therapy.
