Triceps hemangioma

Presentation

Left arm - posterior recurrent diffuse swelling. - Few mths. Referred for elbow radiograph and ultrasound

Age: about 12 yrs
Gender: Male

1st radiograph is a cropped image which was documented - printed and provied for reporting. After doing ultrasound original image ( non-cropped  - 2nd image )  was examined for phleboliths and there were present pointing to diagnosis without ultrasound..

Multiple anechoic channels are noted involving triceps muscle in mid - distal arm. Flow is noted at rest in few of these channels. On compression, significant increase in flow is noted in these channels. No elbow effusion is noted.
