The patient complained of bilateral visual deterioration and headaches. Perimetry revealed bitemporal hemianopsia.

MRI showed a midline mass with intermediate T2 signal at the tuberculum sellae, displacing the optic chiasm and extending posteriorly to the pituitary stalk. The pituitary itself appeared normal.
Case Discussion
By far the most likely diagnosis is that or a meningioma; unfortunately histological proof is not available.
