ct
  • bilateral peri-ventricular subependymal foci of calcification
  • bilateral cortical and subcortical hyperdense lesions

Case Discussion

In this case, tuberous sclerosis is highly suggested with multiple cortical calcified tubers.

Cortical tubers and most CNS manifestations of tuberous sclerosis are best demonstrated on MRI. 50-90% will be found in the frontal lobes 1.

On CT, they are seen as areas of calcification, although this is more commonly demonstrated as subependymal nodules.
