Ulnar styloid pathological fracture from gout

Presentation

Minor fall.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Minimally displaced fracture through the ulnar styloid process and a lucent rounded lesion indicating a pathological fracture. Soft tissue density surrounding the ulnar styloid suggesting tophi.

Background erosive arthropathy involving predominately the little finger proximal interphalangeal joint and radial styloid with punched out erosions and marginal osteophytes in keeping with gout.
