Incidental finding in a patient presenting with right flank pain

Patient Data

Age: 5 years
Gender: Male

There is an asymmetric oval soft tissue density in the left inguinal canal, confirmed to be an undescended left testis on sonographic examination.

No other abnormality in the urinary tract.

Case Discussion

Undescended testis is usually located in the inguinal canal. If untreated, the risk of infertility and cancer increases.
