Unicornuate uterus

Primary amenorrhea, infertility

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Reduced uterine volume with an asymmetric configuration, curved and elongated appearance.

The uterus is deviated towards the right side. Myometrial zonal anatomy is maintained. Endometrial thickness is approximately. 5 mm.

Elongated, loculated fluid filled structure is seen at the posterolateral aspect of uterus, posterior to right ovary, possibly representing a hydrosalpinx/para-ovarian cyst.

Case Discussion

Reduced uterine volume with asymmetric configuration, curved and elongated appearance and deviation towards the right side. No obvious rudimentary horn seen. Findings are consistent with a unicornuate uterus (class II type b Mullerian duct anomaly).
