A well-defined, heterogeneous area at the umbilicus. It extends from the umbilicus and then deep to rectus musculature in the midline.
Echogenic foci in it represent air.
No communication to the urinary bladder dome is noted.
Case Discussion
The presence of discharging midline cystic swelling near the umbilicus is suggestive of umbilical-urachal sinus.
