Presentation

Check radiograph for ureteric stent location.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Surgical staples in the pelvis. Left ureteric stent upper end in the left renal region, lower-end located right to the midline. Right ureteric stent curled up in the right lower abdomen along with local ring-like soft tissue shadow.

ultrasound

Absent urinary bladder in the pelvis. Bilateral mild hydronephrosis. A left ureteric stent is present in the left kidney. A stent is not present in the right kidney.

Case Discussion

Case of urinary bladder carcinoma. Radical cystectomy with ileal conduit construction was performed along with bilateral ureteric stent placement three weeks prior. The right ureteric stent has migrates and is likely to lies in the ileal conduit.
