Urinary bladder diverticulum

Presentation

Poor urinary stream.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

Diffuse and marked urinary bladder wall thickening is present up to 25 mm suggesting urinary bladder outlet obstruction. A 70 mm diverticulum is noted at the right posterolateral aspect of the bladder. No frank enhancing mass could be seen within.

The prostate gland is enlarged. 

Right inguinal hernia containing bowel and omental content.

Large urinary bladder diverticulum and diffuse urinary bladder wall thickening due to the long standing bladder outlet obstruction.
