ultrasound

A hypoechoic band (2 mm) is seen in midline in the endometrial canal, which appears to dissect or bifurcate the endometrial cavity, in the fundal region.

Case Discussion

Ultrasound features are characteristic of uterine synechiae or adhesion band. This is frequently associated with prior interventions like dilatation and curettage.

Hysteroscopy was done and the band was removed. Diagnostic Laparoscopy was also done, which was unremarkable.
