Presentation

Anterior abdominal swelling that increases in size on coughing, prolonged standing, subsides on lying down.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female
ct

3 cm below the umbilicus is a 3.9 x 5.2 cm wide anterior abdominal wall defect resulting in a 12 x 9.6 cm subcutaneous hernial sac. Sac contains ileal loops, mesentery, and omentum. No bowel incarceration.
