Adjacent to the bladder apex, at the attachment of the median umbilical ligament there is a fluid-filled cyst consistent with a remnant urachal cyst.
Case Discussion
This case shows an incidental finding of a vesico-urachal diverticulum. These cysts may become infected, which must also raise the suspicion of urachal adenocarcinoma.
