Worsening of a superficial femoral artery occlusion

Presentation

Rest pain in the left leg.

Patient Data

Age: 75
Gender: Male

Multiple stenoses and occlusion of the left superficial femoral artery and occlusion of the right femoral artery.

Three days after the MRI the occlosion was now far more proximal and endovascular treatment was dismissed in favor of open surgery (femoro-popliteal bypass).
