Fracture diastasis of the right temporozygomatic and zygomaticomaxillary sutures, subtle buckling of the right lateral orbital wall and fractures of the anterior and lateral walls of the right maxillary sinus consistent with a zygomaticomaxillary complex fracture. The zygomaticofrontal suture is intact. Additionally, there is a blow-out type fracture of the right inferior orbital wall with descent of orbital fat and the inferior rectus muscle. The fracture involves the infraorbital nerve canal. Small volume orbital hemorrhage is seen including intraconal hemorrhage behind the globe around the optic nerve.

Case Discussion

Right zygomaticomaxillary complex fracture in combination with a blow-out type fracture of the right inferior orbital wall with mild descent of the inferior orbital contents.
