Scoliosis

Discussion:

This case demonstrates S-shaped thoracolumbar scoliosis. The measured Cobb's angle at the thoracic curvature is 25°. Scoliosis is defined as lateral spinal curvature with a Cobb angle of 10° or more. Surgical management is usually necessary if Cobb's angle is more than 50°.
