Epidermoid cysts of the spleen are rare comprising <10% of benign, nonparasitic splenic cysts. The patients usually have vague, non-specific symptoms possibly related to the size of the mass. This was an incidental finding found on contrast-enhanced  CT virtual colonoscopy performed for abdominal pain.
