Balo concentric sclerosis

Discussion:

The MRI of the brain showed areas of pathological MR signal, the biggest of which is localized in the right parietal lobe. There are stripes of high or low signal depending on the sequence, most likely due to areas of demyelination and myelination (“onion bulb” appearance). On the images of T1 C+ there are no signs of contrast enhancement.  This case may represent Balo concentric sclerosis. Confirmatory follow-up is pending.
