What is the differential diagnosis?
Adrenal metastasis, lipid-poor adrenal adenoma (usually adrenal adenoma has HU <20 due to lipid content, however lipid poor adenomas may have higher HU) , adrenocortical carcinoma, pheochromocytoma, granulomatous adrenal disease
What other modality can be used to further image this adrenal mass?
MRI with chemical shift imaging (in-opp phase) is excellent.
A well defined homogenous nodular mass lesion is seen in left adrenal gland with HU~45 on non-contrast scan.
