Femoral neck stress fracture is a rare condition, especially in its bilateral form, and is usually observed in high-level athletes. MRI is the best modality to detect the fracture line and its extension, as well as the edematous infiltration of the adjacent soft tissues and to exclude a cartilaginous or ligamentous injury.
