Femoroacetabular impingement - cam lesion

Discussion:

Femoro-acetabular impingement is an impingement syndrome of painfully limited hip motion as a result of certain types of underlying morphological abnormalities in the femoral head-neck region and/or surrounding acetabulum. In this case, the osseous bump or cam morphology is causing the impingement.

This can lead to early hip osteoarthritis.
