Described the predominate pattern seen?
Multiple, small well defined, 1-3 mm pulmonary nodules in the right upper lobe.
Describe the distribution of the nodules?
Perilymphatic distribution. 1. Subpleural (Green arrow). 2. Peribronchovascular (orange arrow). 3. Paraseptal and adjacent to the fissures (blue arrows).
Name the other pulmonary features of the disease?
1. Large nodules or lung masses from coalescence of small nodules. This maybe associated with surrounding satellite nodules, "satellite sign". 2. Medium and small airway disease, lobar and segmental bronchi. Mucusal oedema and endobronchial granuloma formation result in narrowing of airway leading to atelectasis and mosiac pattern. 3. Ground glass and reticular opacities with associated tractional bronchiectasis, architectural distortion and volume loss. This is seen 20% of patient with progressive disease with resultant pulmonary fiborisis.
