Describe the common nodal groups involved in sarcoidosis?
Right paratracheal, hilar, aortopulmonary window and subcarnal group. On chest radiograph the combination of hilar and right paratracheal lymphadenpopathy is known as the Garland's triad or the 1-2-3 sign. On CT the combination of all 4 nodal groups right paratracheal, hilar, aortopulmonary window and subcarnal group is known as the 1-2-3-4 sign.
Calcified mediastinal lymph nodes in the paratracheal region (more pronounced on the right), hilar region, aortopulmonary window and subcarinal region.
