Remote cerebellar hemorrhage

Discussion:

Remote cerebellar hemorrhage is a recognized complication of supratentorial craniotomy for various reasons including surgical clipping of aneurysm. The hemorrhage is usually small in size without significant mass thus self-limiting. Larger hemorrhage with compression of the fourth ventricle may require intervention. Etiological factors such as hypertension, anticoagulation or others have not been fully elucidated.
