What is the main abnormality?
A rounded density superiorly in the frontoparietal region.
How would you further assess this?
A contrast enhanced CT is probably the easiest to organise in most instances, although if available an MRI would be even better.
A 2cm rounded mass is present in the post-central gyrus, which is iso-dense to cortex pre-contrast and demonstrates homogeneous contrast enhancement. It is located at the grey-white matter interface and is surrounded by extensive vasogenic oedema, which exerts significant mass effect.
