PCA territory infarct

Discussion:

Posterior cerebral artery infarct is one of the commonr territory infarcts observed in stroke.

Stroke may be subtle on CT in the early stages.

This cases illustrates the early signs of infarct due to oedemtous changes in the right PCA territory, with sulcal effacement compared to the uninvolved right occipital lobe.

Across clinical image never underestimate the value of comparison of paired structures in image review.
