What is the significance of a non-traumatic lesser trochanteric avulsion?
It should be regarded as secondary to a metastatic neoplasm until proven otherwise.
Avulsion of the lesser trochanter of the left femur. Lucent region in the intertrochanteric region. No other fracture. Alignment within normal limits.
