Non-ossifying fibroma

Discussion:

Non-ossifying fibromas tend to present in adolescents and young adults ,with well defined lucent lesion with a sclerotic margin.

It is frequently an incidental finding when a radiograph is performed for alternative purposes, such as to assess for a fracture following trauma.

The differential includes; fibrous cortical defect, aneurysmal bone cyst, and fibrous dysplasia.
