Lunate dislocation

This 30 yr old male presented with wrist pain following a fall from a BMX bike.

He was referred to fracture clinic for an undisplaced radial styloid fracture.

Radiological report picked up the lunate dislocation.

The patient was next seen 5 months later when he re-attended the emergency department. It is unknown if he missed his clinic referral or whether the dislocation was missed at clinic. The lunate was still dislocated and he was suffering from disuse osteoporosis.

He then underwent a stabilization.
