Possibility of chorioangioma of placenta was considered. An important differential is intramural/submucosal fibroid, however intraplacental location and internal vascularity with feeding vessel, favor the diagnosis of chorioangioma.

Chorioangioma is the most common benign placental tumor and frequent incidental finding in antenatal scans. Follow-up monitoring for size, development of polyhydramnios or even hydrops fetalis.
