What is the most likely underlying lesion?
Show Answer
Enchondroma. DDx: bone infarct.
Within the proximal tibial shaft there is a chondroid lesion present. There is no evidence of endosteal scalloping and no break in the cortex and there are no x-ray features to suggest sarcomatous degeneration of this lesion.
