Osteochondromas - tibial

Discussion:

Radiographic examination shows a formation of bone tissue of variable shape and size, consisting of bone tissue, whose trabeculae continue with those of the host bone.

All the exostotic formation is covered by the periosteum, which adheres to the cartilaginous shell; the latter can be covered by a reactive serous bag.

A sessile lesion is more likely to degenerate into sarcoma than a pedunculated lesion.
