I am a scientist, doctor, and filmmaker. I develop new imaging techniques and technology to address overlooked aspects of women’s health. Drawing from an education in chemistry and engineering, as well as clinical training in internal medicine and radiology, I work to create and disseminate new ultrasound methods. By extending imaging techniques to filmmaking and creative arts therapies, I explore issues related to physician and patient mental health. I am passionate about medical education and mentoring trainees from underrepresented groups in science and medicine.
