Multiple serpiginous intramedullary lesions involving the lateral aspect of the femoral metaphysis, lateral femoral condyle (subarticular) and proximal tibia (metaphysis). They elicit iso-to hyposignal to the bone marrow on T1 centrally and a low signal peripheral rim (granulation tissue). The T2 sequences show a double line sign, hyperintense inner line of granulation tissue and a hypointense outer line of sclerosis.
Normal appearance of both menisci, cruciate and collateral ligaments.
