Cassette artifact

Discussion:

Imaging of a computed radiographic photostimulable phosphor cassette upside down results spoke like appearance. The radio-opaque lines running diagonal towards the centre of the image represent the casing that holds the phospher plate.

Often radiographers will notice this and repeat the image, however, some monitors may make it hard to appreciate, it is worth contacting the radiographer to clarify/alert the diagnostic radiographer.
