Imaging plays a central role in diagnosing and identifying the cause of pulmonary hypertension. CT features can be divided into vascular, cardiac and parenchymal findings. The comparison of pulmonary trunk to ascending aorta for diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension has a positive predictive value of 96%.
