Which neurocutaneous disorder is often associated with the development of multiple renal angiomyolipomas?
Tuberous sclerosis.
CT of the abdomen and pelvis obtained with intravenous contrast demonstrates multiple renal angiomyolipomas. Two pseudoaneurysms are demonstrated, associated with the large right anterior upper pole angiomyolipoma. These are in the region of a haemorrhage and measure approximately 8 mm and 5 mm in size respectively.
