MRI sequences demonstrate;
- dysgenesis of the corpus callosum
- agenesis of the corpus callosum involving the rostrum, posterior body, isthmus, and splenium with hypoplasia of the genu and anterior body.
- moderate colpocephaly
- parallel configuration of the lateral ventricles giving a "racing car" appearance on axial T2 sequence and a viking helmet or a moose head appearance on coronal T2 sequence
- atretic occipital cephalocele
- small subgaleal soft tissue mass at the mid-occipital region with intracranial extension through a calvarial defect
