Adenoidal and palatine tonsil enlargement

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Nasal obstruction.

Patient Data

Age: 4 years
Gender: Male

Prominent nasopharyngeal soft tissue indenting the airway, in keeping with enlarged adenoids.

Oval-shaped soft tissue density at the oropharynx, in keeping with enlarged palatine tonsils.

Epiglottis is normal. Tracheal air column is normal. Pre-vertebral soft tissue shadow appears normal.
