Avulsion fracture of the 5th metatarsal styloid process, which is minimally displaced and appears to extend to the articular surface. 

Calcaneal spur also is seen.

Avulsion fractures of the 5th metatarsal styloid should be differentiated from other types of fractures that occur at the base of the 5th metatarsal as well as the normal 5th metatarsal apophysis.
